About WH SelfInvest

WH SelfInvest S.A. was founded in 1998 and is based in Luxembourg. It holds Luxembourg licences as a stockbroker, commission agent and asset manager and is supervised by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF); through the EU passport it has branches in Germany (Frankfurt am Main) and France, with BaFin (the German financial regulator) exercising only limited supervision over the German branch. It offers futures, CFDs, currencies, shares and options, along with its in-house trading platform NanoTrader as well as MetaTrader and ProRealTime. Because WH SelfInvest is not a deposit-taking credit institution, there is no deposit protection (Einlagensicherung): client money is held in segregated accounts at partner banks, where the relevant national deposit protection applies in a bank insolvency, and for an insolvency of the broker itself there is Luxembourg investor protection through the Système d'indemnisation des investisseurs Luxembourg (SIIL) up to a maximum of €20,000. Securities remain customer property and are unaffected by an insolvency.
