About S Broker
Sparkassen Broker started under this name on 30 August 2001; its roots go back to pulsiv AG, founded in Duisburg in 1999. Today the company trades as S Broker AG & Co. KG, based in Wiesbaden, and has belonged entirely to the Deka group since 2016: the general partner is S Broker Management AG, and the sole limited partner is DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale. Sparkassen Broker holds accounts and custody accounts under its own banking licence and is therefore directly supervised by BaFin; balances are protected by statutory deposit protection (Einlagensicherung) up to 100,000 euros per customer. In addition, the institution is part of the institutional protection scheme of the Sparkassen Finance Group, which is recognised as a statutory deposit guarantee scheme under section 43 of the German Deposit Guarantee Act (EinSiG) and is primarily intended to prevent the insolvency of an institution. Securities in the custody account are, independently of this, the customer's property, and fund units count as special assets (Sondervermögen).

- Wholly owned by the Deka group and thus part of the Sparkassen Finance Group
- Institutional protection scheme under section 43 EinSiG
- Largest order provider within the Sparkassen Finance Group
