- Very low girocard fee on the Classic plan (0.26% + €0.08)
- Plans without fixed costs (All Time Flex, Tap on Mobile)
- POS integration via ZVT/O.P.I. and own POS systems
- BaFin-regulated, official payment partner of the Sparkassen
Cons
- Long terms on terminal plans (24–60 months)
- Minimum fee of €0.15 per payment on Flex and Tap on Mobile
- Rental fee on the Classic plan not published
- No documented DATEV/lexoffice integration
Conclusion: PAYONE review
PAYONE is a solid choice for in-store merchants with a high share of girocard payments and a POS system: the Classic girocard fees are among the lowest on the market and the POS integration is exemplary. Anyone who wants to stay flexible has to accept long terms on the terminal plans and a minimum fee on small amounts – for occasional users, Tap on Mobile is the better option.
