Cashper review 2026
How good is Cashper really?
Based on published terms and features
Cashper is the German brand of the Maltese Novum Bank Limited and grants short-term loans (mini-loans) of 100 to 1,500 euros with terms of 15, 30 or 60 days. We rated the offering using the kosten.org methodology for loans, which covers instalment, car, mini and short-term loans. All information relates to the status as of September 2026.
Highlights of our Cashper review
- Cashper scores 36 out of 100 points in our review.
- According to the representative example, the effective annual interest rate is 13.48 per cent (400 euros net loan, 1 month term, total amount 404.18 euros), far above the market level for classic instalment loans.
- The advertised fast payout is chargeable: the SUPER-Deal costs between 39 and 99 euros depending on the loan amount, which exceeds the actual interest costs many times over.
- The application process is strong: fully digital, video identification, document upload, and early repayment is free of charge at any time.

Pros & cons at a glance
Pros
- Early full repayment possible at any time free of charge and without a prepayment penalty
- Fully digital application with video identification and document upload, no branch and no PostIdent needed
- Low entry hurdles: from age 18, 400 euros net income, small amounts from 100 euros
- A negative Schufa entry does not automatically lead to rejection
- Very good customer reviews on Trustpilot (4.5 out of 5 stars from around 9,400 reviews)
Cons
- Effective annual interest rate of around 13.5 per cent, more than twice the market average for classic instalment loans
- Fast payout is only available with the chargeable SUPER-Deal: 39 to 99 euros depending on the loan amount, many times the actual interest cost for small amounts
- For the free standard payout, Cashper gives no binding deadline; third-party sources report up to 7 to 10 working days
- Very short terms of 15, 30 or 60 days and low loan amounts, effectively only 100 to 600 euros for new customers
- No free repayment holiday, stretching repayment only for an extra charge; the self-employed have hardly any chance
Conclusion: Cashper review
Cashper scores 36 out of 100 points and therefore the grade Adequate (4.2). The application process is exemplary in its digital approach and free early repayment is a real plus, but the effective annual interest rate of around 13.5 per cent and above all the fee of 39 to 99 euros for a quick payout make the loan expensive. Cashper only makes sense, if at all, for a very short-term bridge of small amounts when you can wait for the free standard payout; for any foreseeable financing need, a classic instalment loan is much cheaper.
