Tischline is the insider tip in the meal-kit comparison: cheaper than HelloFresh, with generous portions and a rating of 4.4 stars. Tischline is an excellent choice, especially for families.

Highlights of our Tischline review

  • From €4.45 per portion
  • Large portions
  • 4.4-star rating
  • Ideal for families

1 Recipe selection & variety

Tischline offers around 20 recipes a week – from classic German to international. The dishes are down-to-earth and family-friendly. The selection is smaller than at HelloFresh, but solid and varied.

2 Ingredient quality

The ingredients are fresh and of good quality, though predominantly conventional rather than organic. Portion sizes are more generous than at the competition – with many dishes there is something left over.

3 Value for money

At €4.45 per portion, Tischline is one of the cheapest specialised meal-kit providers. Value for money is excellent, and for families of 4-6 people the price per portion falls further.

4 Ease of use

The website is functional, but less modern than HelloFresh or Marley Spoon. There is no app of its own. The recipe cards are clear and easy to understand.

5 Sustainability & packaging

The packaging is functional but could be improved. Tischline lags behind Wyldr and HelloFresh on sustainability. Recyclable materials are, however, increasingly being used.

Pros & cons at a glance
