The e-invoicing obligation from 2025 is fully supported – both XRechnung and ZUGFeRD are included on all plans. Banking integration synchronises account transactions automatically and matches them with open items. The DATEV export is certified and allows seamless collaboration with your tax adviser. Scoring (28/30): A nearly perfectly equipped solution. Only a minimal deduction for the missing integrated time tracking, which has to be added through partners.

Only a small deduction because particularly experienced users sometimes need too many clicks for advanced functions.

In terms of price, sevDesk positions itself in the upper midfield of cloud accounting providers. The Invoicing plan starts at €8.90 a month and already covers basic invoicing. For full accounting with EÜR, banking and DATEV export, the Accounting plan at €17.90/month is required. By comparison: Lexware Office starts at €9.90/month, and Papierkram is even free. The higher price at sevDesk is justified by the best AI receipt capture on the market and the DATEV certification. With annual payment you save 20% – which makes the solution more attractive for long-term users. Scoring (19/25): A justified price for the quality, but price-conscious users will find cheaper alternatives with fewer features.

The hotline is available on working days from 9am to 6pm. Particularly worth highlighting is the extensive range of free webinars, which take place regularly and teach both the software and accounting basics. The knowledge base is very comprehensive and answers most questions immediately. The only criticism: no 24/7 support is available.
