1 FREE vs. PRIME+ – which plan suits you?
Scalable offers two broker plans: FREE (no basic fee, €0.99 per trade) and PRIME+ (€4.99 a month, all trades from €250 free). Savings plans are free on both plans.
PRIME+ pays off from around 5-6 trades a month. Anyone who only uses savings plans is best served by FREE.
2 Interest on balances
According to the interest overview, the settlement account of the custody account earns 0.00% p.a. The advertised interest – currently 2.60% p.a. – applies to the separate instant-access savings account, which has to be opened additionally and actively funded. Interest is credited monthly, the money is available daily and is protected by statutory deposit protection (Einlagensicherung).
3 The Scalable robo-advisor
Besides the broker, Scalable also offers a robo-advisor. For 0.75% p.a., your money is invested automatically in a diversified ETF portfolio. The robo-advisor is suitable for anyone who does not want to trade themselves.
