85/100
Points

Livestorm is the marketing specialist among webinar tools: the French platform combines browser-based streaming with marketing automation and usage-based billing via participant credits. In our 100-point rating we check whether the credit model pays off for your webinar rhythm.

Highlights of our Livestorm review

  • Livestorm scores 85/100 points in our rating – the strongest marketing features.
  • 100% browser-based – zero entry barrier for participants.
  • €2.50 per participant, smallest package 400 credits (€1,000, valid for 12 months).
  • Video region EU or US selectable as an add-on.

1 Webinar features & marketing

29/32
Points
Livestorm offers the best marketing feature set in the comparison: automated email sequences (invitation, reminder, follow-up), customisable landing pages with A/B testing and a unique engagement score that rates each participant's activity. Live webinars, automated webinars and on-demand replays are available. Polls, Q&A, chat and hand-raising provide interaction. The registration pages are modern in design and conversion-optimised. The conversion tracking pixel makes it possible to measure the ROI of webinars via Google Analytics and Facebook Ads. No other provider in the comparison integrates marketing analytics this deeply. Scoring (29/32): Best marketing feature set in the comparison. The engagement score is unique. Minimal deduction because CRM integrations such as HubSpot are only included on the Enterprise plan.

2 Streaming quality & technology

15/18
Points
Livestorm runs 100% in the browser – WebRTC-based, no download needed. Video quality is good, with HD resolution as standard. With more than 500 participants there can occasionally be slight delays. The Pro plan allows up to 3,000 participants per event and sessions of up to 4 hours. Browser compatibility is excellent: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge are fully supported. Screen sharing and presentation mode work natively. The recording function saves webinars automatically and makes them available as an on-demand replay. The automated webinar mode allows recorded sessions to be played back as apparently live events. Scoring (15/18): Browser-based is a big advantage. Slight deductions for occasional performance dips with large numbers of participants.

3 Data protection & GDPR

15/16
Points
As a French company, Livestorm is directly subject to the EU's GDPR (DSGVO in German). The video region (EU or US) can be selected as an add-on; you should ask the provider before signing where registration data and recordings are stored by default. You should in any case conclude a data processing agreement (AVV, short for Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag). The registration forms can contain checkboxes for marketing consent. Data export and deletion on request are straightforward. For German companies, Livestorm is one of the more privacy-friendly options in the comparison – an EU company with a selectable EU video region. Scoring (15/16): Strong position alongside edudip. Minimal deduction because the EU region is an add-on and the documentation is mainly in English/French.

4 Integrations & usability

16/20
Points
Livestorm offers CRM integrations such as Salesforce and HubSpot – but only on the Enterprise plan. Other tools can be connected via Zapier. The user interface is modern and intuitive. Setting up a webinar takes under 10 minutes. The dashboard gives a clear overview of upcoming events, registrations and performance metrics. Reporting is comprehensive: replay analytics, email performance, conversion tracking and the unique engagement score per participant. All data can be exported via API and CSV. Scoring (16/20): Strong CRM integrations and a modern UI. Deductions for the steeper learning curve with the marketing automation.

5 Prices & plans

10/14
Points
Livestorm bills on a usage basis (as of October 2026, according to livestorm.co): on the Pro plan each participant costs €2.50. The smallest package comprises 400 credits for €1,000 and is valid for 12 months – equivalent to €83.33 a month. Each person counts once per session, whether live, as a replay or on demand; team members do not count. An Enterprise plan with individual pricing includes CRM integrations, among other things. Livestorm advertises a free entry point, but the exact limits are not shown on the pricing page. The model pays off for irregular webinars. With a monthly webinar of 100 participants, 1,200 attendances add up over a year – arithmetically €3,000, unless larger packages are cheaper. Scoring (10/14): High entry cost because of the minimum package, but no costs for unused seats.

Conclusion: Livestorm review

85/100
Very good (1.8)

Livestorm scores 85 out of 100 points and offers the strongest marketing features in the webinar comparison. For B2B companies that use webinars irregularly for lead generation, the credit model (€2.50 per participant, from €1,000 for 12 months) fits well; with regular large webinars it quickly becomes more expensive than a fixed-price plan.
