About Ginmon
Ginmon Vermögensverwaltung GmbH was founded in Frankfurt am Main in November 2014 by Lars Reiner, Ulrich Bauer and Raphael Vosen. Ginmon holds a BaFin permit for financial portfolio management (BaFin is the German financial regulator) and builds its portfolios on a factor-based model in the tradition of Fama and French, implemented through its own software APEIRON and rebalanced automatically. Ginmon is not a credit institution itself and therefore has no deposit protection (Einlagensicherung) of its own: the depot and settlement account are held at a German partner bank from the BNP Paribas group, where balances are covered by the statutory deposit protection up to €100,000. The ETF and fund units in the depot are segregated assets and do not form part of the insolvency estate if either Ginmon or the custodian bank becomes insolvent. The offer is aimed at investors looking for a scientifically grounded, largely automated investment strategy.
Special features
- Self-developed portfolio software APEIRON
- Implementation of the Fama and French three-factor model
- ETF and fund units are segregated assets
- Additional sustainable portfolio variants available
