About Maxda
Maxda Darlehensvermittlungsgesellschaft mbH, based in Speyer, has been in the market since the end of the 1970s and is one of the best-known and oldest loan brokers in Germany. Maxda is not a bank and has no banking licence; it operates under a trade-law permit for loan brokerage under section 34c of the Trade Regulation Act (Gewerbeordnung), and the loans are granted by partner banks in Germany and abroad. The focus is on cases that traditional branch and direct banks turn down, for example negative Schufa entries (the German credit bureau), refinancing or unusual income situations; it arranges general-purpose loans, civil servant loans and property financing. Because it takes no deposits, there is no deposit protection (Einlagensicherung). Consumers should check the brokerage costs, add-on products such as payment protection insurance, and the effective annual interest rate carefully, and compare them with offers from regular banks.
Special features
- Permit as loan broker under section 34c GewO, no BaFin banking licence
